As you know, our days are usually filled with showings, listing appointments, team meetings, open houses, inspections, and even writing blog posts. We like to stay busy at The Riley Smith Group, but we also know the importance of taking some time to give back. That is why we have been intimately involved with the non-profit organization Act 4 Me since 2012. Riley currently sits on the Board of Directors of Act 4 Me, as does Bea Citron, one of The Riley Smith Group’s luxury real estate specialists.
Act 4 Me helps local Miami kids with neurological disorders and developmental delays get the therapy they need. They believe that every child deserves the right to progress to their highest potential, and should not be limited by the lack of therapies available, or the coverage constraints of most insurance companies.
Earlier this year, The Riley Smith Group and EWM participated in Act 4 Me’s annual golf charity event which raised $50,000 – 100% of which will go straight towards grants for autistic children!
This generous contribution will be able to give 15 kids and their families each a weekly therapy session for one full year. These are all local families from Miami-Dade County, who might not have access to this therapy otherwise.
We are so humbled by the success of this year’s tournament and are already looking forward to next year’s event! If you want to learn more about
